http://www.businesstimes.com.sg/consume ... disappears

Company borrowed from FS too, from January.

So the 500k loan isn't from FS or MS, New Union hasn't responded yet. Could it be CoAssets? Which other top five platform could it be?

Either CoAssets or FundedHere. $500k is not a small amount, very surprised that any crowdfunding platform will lend that.

New Union has responded saying TLC Cars did not approach them for funding requests, nor did they crowdfund any loans for them.

Also that they only put up funding requests on their platform when their Credit Risk Committee (made up of business owners, industry professionals) is willing to fund a part of it themselves.

Understand that FS also does this and yet they funded TLC?

Dont think anyone else wants to reveal that they funded 500k and were conned.

I don't think the $500k loan was from CoAssets.

It's either Co-assets ( But i never saw any Car Trader campaigns there) or Validus. I dont think any other platform other than MLS,CM,FS,NU, CoAssets or Validus can be considered as "top 5" platforms. Crowdo is not even active in SG market.

If its Validus, then the key question here is did the investors get back their money as said in the blog post a couple of weeks ago ( http://letscrowdsmarter.com/validus-pav ... #more-1632)

I hope letscrowdsmarter is able to investigate and find out how much this insurance actually covers. I suspect it only covers invoice financing loans and may not have covered a working capital loan.

In my capacity as a direct creditor, I have today lodged a police report against the Director Mr Timothy Gay to recover whatever monies that
is owing to me.
I do not know if this will come to anything but its a step in the right direction.
I urge all of the 91 other investors in this facility to do the same, if not done so already.

My loan is with CM only.
Don't think MS loaned to TLC.

has anyone else here lodge a police report? This case does not seems to be moving. no updates at all.

We need more people to lodge a report to highlight the importance of this case. Dun let fraudster take us for a ride and cheat us of our hard-earned monies!

Mr Timothy Jeremy GAY CHIN HEE of TLC CARS PTE LTD, if you are reading this, I urge you to make good of our monies. It is a matter of time you have to pay either this life or next life. Karma will go after you.
